We are very proud to be of assistance to you. Celiac Disease is
not rare, but an under diagnosed medical condition. According to the
University of Maryland Celiac Research Center, 1 out of 133 people
here in RI and the United States have celiac disease. The American
Celiac Support Group of RI was the second group in the US to become
involved in this research study a few years ago. Another study
completed by the Celiac Disease Center indicated that if you
combined all the people with crohn's, ulcerative colitis and cystic
fibrosis there are still far more people with celiac disease. See
the U. of Maryland link for Celiac Research Data. Columbia Celiac
Center states a study that more than 1.5 million Americans suffer
from celiac disease. Check out the Columbia Celiac Center studies
and information on their link located on this opening page. Both the
U. of Maryland Celiac Research Center and Columbia Celiac Center are
the advisors to the American Celiac Family Support Group of RI. Feel
free to contact us if you need any Celiac assistance. The e-mail
address is:

question" in the regarding link. Again, welcome and we hope we have
made a positive impact on you or your loved ones health. |
