Spring/Summer Activity
and Meeting Announcement
Lauren Butler was
diagnosed with Celiac Disease about a
year ago and is currently a student at the University
of Massachusetts at
Dartmouth, and
she will be graduating this May with a degree in Graphic Design.
For her senior degree project Lauren decided to do a piece on Celiac Disease—
something that personally affects her and all of us too. She has a
questionnaire
Regarding celiac
disease that it now posted on our web site to be completed
immediately as it is time
sensitive. She would greatly appreciate your assistance.
Please go to:www.celiacsupportgroup.com
If you do not have a computer you can go to
your local library and
complete the questionnaire there. Lauren
has agreed to
attend a future meeting to
display and review her Celiac results.
Thank you for helping
Lauren.

member that is corn free, along with there are diabetic members too, so
please contact us at least one week prior to the meeting to let us know if
you need a specific ingredient change for you to enjoy the baked

one: that we want you to enjoy our demos and two: you need to know that
the group pays for these food demos and special ingredients costs us
extra. Of course everything is
gluten free as that is our main need.

Cookie Cookbook offer:
The Gluten-Free Cookies cookbook by Jeanne Basye
is a cookbook that we would recommend for all our members. I tried a few of
them out and they were not only easy but delicious. My personal recommendation is this is a great
cookbook for us all to have as who does not like cookies! I will have the cookbook for you to look over
at the meeting. You can go to www.glutenfreecookielady.com
to look over the book too. If members would like to order it we can do a
group order and save the shipping fee of $4.95.
Out total cost per book would be $19.95.
We would need to order in groups of 12 or 15. You can let me know now or at the meeting if
you would like to place an order. .
