Recommendations for Gluten-free Dining
The American Celiac Family Support
Group of RI invites you to
try the following restaurants which have made a commitment
to provide a gluten-free dining experience for you. When
you see G/F Menu next to the name of the restaurant that
means not only will they serve you gluten free but also will
have a Gluten Free Menu. You must ask for the menu
when being seated. The following restaurants not only will serve you gluten
free food, but are a support to this Support Group and we
thank them for that. There are other restaurants that will
provide you with gluten free choices, but are NOT endorsed
nor checked for following the gluten free requirements.
Please be aware that all of these
establishments serve gluten-containing meals as well as
gluten-free items. It is the diner’s responsibility to
clearly identify their individual dietary needs. We
recommend the customer call the restaurant prior to dining
to confirm the availability of the gluten-free menu, and to
ask if there is someone special you should contact when you
arrive.
By patronizing these restaurants,
and identifying your gluten-free dining requirements, it
supports the need for, and value of, their participation in
the Gluten-Free Restaurant Awareness Program. Be polite and
generous in your appreciation! Our participating
restaurants have put a lot of effort into accommodating the
needs of customers requiring a gluten-free diet.
