New Fall 2008 Recipes

Skillet Corn Bread

1 ½ C G/F Fine Ground Corn Meal

3 Tbs. Quinoa Flour

1 Tbs. Sugar

1 ½ tsp. Baking Powder

1 tsp Salt

1 ½ C Milk

1 Egg Beaten

2 Tbs. butter

½ tsp Xantham Gum

 

Melt butter in large hot skillet at 450 degrees (cast iron is best but others work).  Mix dry ingredients.  Add milk and egg then beat together.  Add melted butter from skillet.  Pour batter into skillet.

 

Bake 450 degrees 20-25 min.

The American Celiac Family Support Group Cookbook

This cookbook is written for and by local Celiacs and their family members. It is an easy to use cookbook and is a must in all Celiac homes. Our cookbook is available at all of our meetings along with most local health food stores.
