New Fall 2008 Recipes
Skillet Corn Bread
1 ½ C G/F Fine Ground Corn Meal
3 Tbs. Quinoa Flour
1 Tbs. Sugar
1 ½ tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp Salt
1 ½ C Milk
1 Egg Beaten
2 Tbs. butter
½ tsp Xantham Gum
Melt butter in large hot skillet at 450 degrees
(cast iron is best but others work). Mix dry ingredients. Add milk
and egg then beat together. Add melted butter from skillet. Pour
batter into skillet.
Bake 450 degrees 20-25 min.
